In the Elizabethan age, only close members of the royal family were permitted to wear purple. It was such a rich and expensive colour to produce that only the very wealthy could even afford it.
Luckily we live in a modern world where the Regina vase is available to all! It's a glass vase fit for royalty, painted a deep, luxurious purple and finished with gold leafing around the base. At a height of 15cm, only one or two floral stems are needed to create a lovely look for a bedside or study table.
